Azure Connectivity Architect

Contract Azure Connectivity Architect | Global FMCG Firm (EU-Remote) Azure Connectivity Architect is required by a global FMCG firm to deliver a Cloud Transformation Programme. This is a technical lead role covering Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, and cloud interconnects, working alongside the WAN Product Owner to shape how Azure, global WAN, datacentres, and external partners connect securely and reliably. The role comprises:- Architecture — defining connectivity standards, designing secure hybrid patterns, supporting cloud transformation and M&A activity- Operations — acting as the escalation point for complex connectivity issues (routing, VPN, ExpressRoute, firewall), driving root cause analysis- Security & Governance — network segmentation, secure partner access, working closely with Cyber Security What you'll bring:- Strong Azure networking experience, ideally with AWS/GCP exposure- Deep grounding in TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec VPN, routing & segmentation, DNS- ExpressRoute and private cloud connectivity experience- Architect-level cloud certification (Azure/AWS/GCP)- Comfortable managing landing zones and working across incident/problem/change processes- Telecom/managed connectivity provider experience This engagement would suit someone who genuinely enjoys full lifecycle technical delivery: architecture roadmap ->hands-on troubleshooting-> supplier relationship management
