This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of compliance standards on a major data centre project in Vantaa, Finland. The RoleAs Compliance Manager, you will lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of workforce and labour compliance across the project, ensuring adherence to Finnish and EU legislation, client requirements, and company policies. Working closely with senior project leadership, subcontractors, labour providers, HR, Procurement, and HSE teams, you will take responsibility for identifying and managing compliance risks, overseeing audits and inspections, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. You will act as a key point of contact for compliance matters across the project, helping to maintain consistently high standards throughout the workforce and supply chain. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation and ongoing management of compliance standards across the project.Ensure project operations remain compliant with Finnish and EU labour legislation, client requirements, and internal policies.Oversee workforce compliance documentation, including employment contracts, right-to-work records, timesheets, payslips, and posted worker documentation.Monitor and assess subcontractor and labour agency compliance throughout the supply chain.Plan, coordinate, and lead compliance audits, inspections, and workforce welfare reviews.Identify labour, welfare, ethical, and supply chain compliance risks and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.Lead investigations into compliance concerns, breaches, and non-conformances.Develop and maintain compliance procedures, reporting systems, and project controls.Produce regular compliance reports and KPI updates for senior project stakeholders.Provide guidance to project teams and subcontractors on compliance requirements and best practice.Deliver and coordinate training relating to ethical labour standards, workforce welfare, and modern slavery awareness.Work closely with Procurement, HR, HSE, and Project Management teams to embed strong compliance practices throughout the project.Support the development and continuous improvement of compliance standards across the wider organisation. About YouDegree or equivalent experience in Compliance, Human Resources, Law, Social Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.Strong previous experience within compliance, labour compliance, HR compliance, social compliance, workforce welfare, ESG, or a related field.Experience taking ownership of compliance activities within a project, operational, or construction environment.Strong knowledge of labour legislation and workforce compliance requirements.Knowledge of Finnish labour law, posted worker regulations, occupational safety requirements, and contractor compliance obligations
