Help us scale.Full-Time | Remote | DTC Ecommerce | $3,000–$7,000/month + Performance Bonus | 9 AM–5 PM Amsterdam Time Job SnapshotWe’re looking for a Creative Strategist to own the continuous development of fresh, performance-driven creative concepts for an eight-figure DTC home decor brand.Your primary outcome is simple:Develop creative concepts that drive profitable customer acquisition and give our media buying team more opportunities to scale.Quality matters more than hitting a concept quota. We want someone who researches independently, thinks outside the box, forms strong hypotheses, writes compelling video concepts and scripts, and moves ideas into testing quickly.We don’t want you waiting for briefs. We want you telling us what we should be testing. About the CompanyWe’re an established DTC home decor business selling products designed to make homes warmer, more comfortable, and inviting.The business has reached eight figures in revenue and is entering another stage of growth through expanded products, stronger supply chain operations, and continued paid acquisition.We keep the team lean and expect people to take ownership, become excellent at their craft, and grow with the business. The RoleYou’ll own the creative strategy and concept pipeline behind our paid social advertising, with a major focus on video creative and AI-enabled advertising.You’ll research:Customer desires, objections, frustrations, and buying triggersCreative performance and advertising dataDirect competitors and successful brands outside our categoryEmerging formats and advertising trendsWinning hooks, claims, angles, offers, and mechanismsNew AI-enabled creative opportunitiesYou’ll turn these insights into concepts, scripts, briefs, and creative directions that designers and editors can execute quickly.You’re not here simply to make ads look good. You’re here to find ideas that sell. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a strong pipeline of testable concepts across angles, hooks, formats, products, and awareness levels.Write video concepts and scripts for AI, UGC-style, motion, and other relevant formats.Create executable briefs with hooks, messaging, visual direction, references, scripts, and hypotheses.Analyze creative performance to understand why ads win or lose.Turn performance data into new creative hypotheses and iterations.Research customers, competitors, trends, other industries, and advertising patterns.Identify ideas outside our category that can be adapted to the brand.Iterate on winning concepts instead of constantly starting from zero.Review creative quickly so production and testing stay moving.Collaborate with media buyers, designers, editors, and the wider marketing team.Use AI extensively for research, ideation, scripting, variations, and creative production.Challenge existing creative assumptions when research or performance data supports a better approach. Required ExperienceYou should have:Proven creative strategy experience with DTC/ecommerce brands.Strong experience developing direct-response video advertising.Evidence of concepts that produced measurable results.A portfolio showing paid social concepts, scripts, briefs, hooks, or campaigns.Strong knowledge of direct-response advertising and customer psychology.Working knowledge of CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, and ad spend.Experience turning performance data into creative hypotheses.Strong research instincts beyond obvious competitor research.Strong written and spoken English.Ability to produce quality work quickly.Confidence using AI as part of your everyday creative workflow.Ability to operate independently without constant direction.Experience with home decor, home goods, furniture, or lifestyle brands is a plus.We care more about proof of performance and how you think than job titles.
