Experienced Test Consultant with a strong focus on data validation and business scenario testing for account-related products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role is centered around ensuring that data accurately reflects real-world account scenarios and business logic. You will be responsible for validating data products before they are used for reporting and downstream processes, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute data-focused test cases based on account lifecycle scenarios (e.g., account opening, transactions, changes, closures)Validate data content and correctness across data products and pipelinesEnsure that business rules and product logic are correctly represented in the dataPerform data validation and reconciliation using SQLDefine and maintain test scenarios reflecting real-life account behavior and edge casesWork with test management tools (e.g., Xray) to structure and track testingValidate and monitor data quality using tools such as Collibra Data QualityCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and data engineersContribute to improving data test methodologies and structured ways of working

Required Competence And Experience

Certified tester (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent)Strong understanding of test methodology with a focus on functional and data testingProven experience in data validation and scenario-based testingExperience as a system tester with a strong data focusHands-on experience with SQL for data verification and analysisGood understanding of data flows and transformations in modern data platforms (preferably GCP)Experience working with test management tools such as XrayFamiliarity with data quality tools (e.g., Collibra Data Quality)Ability to translate business scenarios into structured test cases

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within the account and payments domainUnderstanding of regulatory reporting and data accuracy requirementsExperience testing data products or analytical datasetsFamiliarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., BCBS-239, DORA)Experience within financial products and the financial services industry is considered a strong advantage
