Senior DevOps EngineerFully Remote | B2B Contract | International Product CompanyWe are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for an international product company building high-scale platform solutions for the iGaming industry.This is an additional hire into an established DevOps team — not a replacement and not a standalone “one-person infrastructure department.” You will join six DevOps engineers, including the Team Lead, and work alongside a separate SRE team.The team is looking for a genuinely hands-on Senior Engineer: someone who can independently investigate complex production issues, understand the infrastructure beyond individual tools, and identify what should be improved — rather than simply maintain what is already in place. What you’ll work onSupport and evolve cloud-based production infrastructure running on AWS and Kubernetes.Investigate and resolve complex production incidents.Review the existing infrastructure and identify opportunities to improve it.Strengthen platform reliability, security, scalability, and observability.Build and maintain infrastructure through code.Improve CI/CD processes and deployment workflows.Introduce new tools and technologies where they solve a real engineering or business problem.Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, developers, and the SRE team.Contribute to infrastructure and architecture discussions.Proactively propose solutions as the product and its infrastructure continue to grow. What we’re looking forAround 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering experience.Strong practical experience with AWS — this is essential.Solid experience running and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production.A strong cloud infrastructure background rather than primarily on-premise experience.Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and/or Terragrunt.Hands-on experience with Docker.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and HTTP.Proven experience handling production incidents and independently troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems.Ability to evaluate existing systems and suggest practical architectural improvements.Experience working as part of a DevOps or engineering team and collaborating closely with developers.English at B2 level or higher. Experience with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Alertmanager, or DigitalOcean would be helpful, but you are not expected to match every tool in the stack.Previous iGaming experience is not required. We are much more interested in strong production experience within complex, high-load product environments. The company also has a separate SRE team of seven engineers, with occasional collaboration between the two teams.The role is fully remote and full-time, with required availability during European core working hours.There is no traditional 24/7 on-call rotation or continuous after-hours monitoring. Each week, one team member is responsible for assisting with production issues if needed.
