Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerLocation: Vantaa, FinlandContract Type: Freelance / ContractContract Length: 12 months (option to extend!)Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days RemoteRate: Dependent on Experience The RoleDesign electrical systems and schematics for production machinery and industrial equipment used within the automotive manufacturing sector.Produce detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD.Select and dimension electrical and automation components in accordance with project and customer requirements.Design electrical cabinets, control panels, and associated electrical infrastructure.Support projects from concept design through manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and handover.Work closely with mechanical engineers, project teams, and customers throughout the design process.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support standardisation of design practices. RequirementsMinimum 2-3 years' experience in Electrical Design, Electrical Engineering, or a similar role.Proven experience using EPLAN is essential, as well as, Strong experience using AutoCAD.Experience designing production machinery, automated equipment, or industrial systems.Background in electrical schematics, cabinet design, and technical documentation.Experience with automation systems, PLCs, drives, and industrial control systems is advantageous.Proactive and solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges.Fluent English and Finnish language skills are required.
