HSE Manager - Data Centre ConstructionLocation: Horndal, SwedenSector: Data Centre ConstructionEmployment Type: Permanent / ContractCompetitive Salary & Package The Opportunity I'm currently supporting a leading international contractor in the search for an experienced HSE Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of Europe's most significant mission-critical construction projects, taking ownership of Health, Safety & Environmental performance across a fast-paced and technically complex site. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all site Health, Safety & Environmental activities.Ensure compliance with Swedish HSE legislation and company standards.Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training programmes.Support project management teams in identifying and mitigating risks.Promote a proactive safety culture across all contractors and subcontractors.Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders on all HSE matters.Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior leadership. Requirements Proven experience as an HSE Manager on large-scale construction projects.Previous Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Industrial, or Major Infrastructure experience preferred.NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6, Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent qualification.Strong knowledge of European and Swedish HSE regulations.Experience managing multiple contractors in a live construction environment.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent English is essential; Swedish language skills are advantageous.
