Embedded Software Engineer – AUTOSAR / PowertrainLocation: Gothenburg, SwedenContract: 12-month rolling contract The RoleWe are looking for two hands-on Embedded Software Engineers to join an Electrical Motors / Powertrain team in Gothenburg, working on the development of AUTOSAR-based ECU software for next-generation electrified vehicles. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate and configure AUTOSAR Classic software.Work with AUTOSAR BSW configuration, integration and modules.Develop and integrate low-level MCU peripheral drivers.Work with peripherals including ADC, PWM, DMA, Watchdog, UART and similar interfaces.Develop and integrate communication functionality using CAN, LIN, SPI and UART.Develop real-time embedded software using FreeRTOS or an equivalent RTOS.Work directly with ARM Cortex, Infineon AURIX or equivalent microcontrollers.Support hardware bring-up, board-level debugging and software/hardware integration.Perform on-chip debugging using Lauterbach / Trace32 or equivalent tools.Troubleshoot complex embedded software issues at both software and hardware level.Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, testing and software engineering teams.Contribute to automotive powertrain and EV applications, including inverters, BMS and electric drive units (EDUs). Experience with several of the following would be highly relevant:Embedded C/C++AUTOSAR ClassicAUTOSAR BSW configuration and integrationAUTOSAR modules and ECU softwareMCU peripheral driver development or integrationCAN, LIN, SPI and UARTFreeRTOS or another real-time operating systemARM Cortex, Infineon AURIX or similar MCUsHardware bring-up and low-level debuggingLauterbach / Trace32 or equivalent debugging toolsAutomotive powertrain / EV systemsInverters, BMS or EDU systemsISO 26262 and functional safetyASIL-related development and safety activities
