FPGA DeveloperLocation: Malmö, SwedenContract: 6 months, with potential for extensionRate: 800 - 900 SEK/hour As an FPGA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, verifying, and integrating FPGA/CPLD-based digital hardware. You will work closely with engineers across FPGA, embedded software, electronics, mechanical, and optical disciplines to develop robust and reliable products from concept through to implementation. What You Will DoDesign, develop, and implement FPGA and CPLD solutions using VHDL and/or Verilog.Develop advanced, low-power digital logic for next-generation electro-optical products.Integrate FPGA logic with microcontrollers, sensors, and low-power interfaces.Develop and maintain simulation environments, testbenches, and verification strategies.Perform functional verification, debugging, and fault finding at both simulation and hardware level.Carry out timing analysis and timing closure to ensure reliable FPGA performance.Support hardware bring-up, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.Work closely with embedded software engineers to ensure seamless hardware/software integration. What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced FPGA/Digital Hardware Engineer who combines strong technical skills with a structured and quality-focused approach.Ideally, you will have:A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.5+ years of professional experience in FPGA development, digital hardware design, or a closely related field.Strong hands-on experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.Experience with FPGA/CPLD development, simulation, verification, and debugging.Experience interfacing FPGA designs with microcontrollers and sensors is highly desirable.The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary R&D environment.Fluent English is required; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
