GCP Data Engineer

We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer to one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Start date: 2026-10-12

End date: 2027-02-28

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

You will join a strategic initiative to develop a next-generation cloud data warehouse platform in GCP. This cross-functional team focuses on delivering end-to-end data solutions while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. As a senior team member, you will provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Design and implement data integration solutions, data models, and scalable data pipelines within GCP Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability and performance of data platforms and pipelines Lead data onboarding processes and integrate data from multiple source systems Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and promote best practices across the team Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with focus on automation and operational excellence

Senior-level data engineer with extensive experience in cloud data platform development Strong background in DevOps principles, automation, and platform reliability Proven experience in Agile development environments with cross-functional collaboration Ability to provide technical leadership and contribute to architecture decisions Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
