Most shapewear brands are drowning in SKUs, chasing every trend, hoping something sticks. This one went the other way: fewer products, built with actual purpose, and it's working. Doing seven figures a month right now and on track for five million a month by year end, the founder is ready to bring in a senior creative leader who can mentor the existing team, lead the day-to-day creative function, and give him the confidence to step back from being the team's bottleneck. You'd be walking into a brand that's already found its winning formats and is now looking for someone to take the ceiling off. This is a full-time, remote contractor role. WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTOLead the day-to-day creative strategy across Meta, building on what's already working while constantly pushing for new winning concepts.Run daily calls with the Creative Strategist and Junior Creative Strategist, setting the standard and coaching them toward stronger outputDig into research and buyer psychology to keep the pipeline of new concepts fresh, especially net new ideas, which has been the brand's toughest nut to crackReview and give feedback on edits submitted by video editors, keeping quality consistently highBuild and prioritise a testing roadmap that balances volume (35 to 45 concepts a week currently) with actual qualityWork directly with the founder, translating business goals into a creative strategy that gets thereSet the tone for what "good" looks like on this team, since you'll effectively be training the next generation of strategists WHO YOU AREYou have 3+ years of experience working with DTC brands, ideally consumer or fashion-adjacentYou have a genuine understanding of direct-response marketing, not just creative theoryYou thrive in fast-moving environments and naturally take ownership without waiting to be told what to doYou have an exceptional work ethic and enjoy building alongside a team that's constantly pushing to improveYou've driven measurable ROAS improvements through creative testing, and you can back that up with real numbersYou come from a copywriting or marketing background, and you understand what makes people buyYou're comfortable owning testing volume and quality at the same time, not sacrificing one for the otherYou're proactive about net new ideas, not just optimising what already existsYou take responsibility seriously and communicate clearly, especially when things aren't workingYou want to lead, not just execute, and you're excited by the idea of mentoring a small creative teamYou're able to commit fully to one brand; this role isn't a fit if you're juggling other clientsBonus if you've:Worked in fashion, beauty, or a similarly aesthetic-driven verticalExperience building or mentoring a creative team, not just doing the work solo
