Mechanical Design Engineer

ALTEN is growing and looking for an engaged Mechanical design engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with the entire lifecycle of mechanical systems, from design to implementation, and play a key role in driving our projects forward. You will collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to successful and complex engineering projects. ABOUT THE ROLE Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawingsDesign mechanical components and subsystems for complex industrial productsWork within PLM/PDM environments to manage product structures and change processesCollaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure design for manufacturabilitySupport verification, validation, and continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in technical reviews and contribute to engineering best practices Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperience in mechanical design within industrial or technology-driven environmentsStrong knowledge of at least one advanced CAD system:CATIACreo (PTC)SolidWorksNX CADAbility to work in structured development processes with high quality standardsGood communication skills in English ABOUT ALTEN ALTEN is one of Europe’s largest technology and IT consulting companies, with over 57,000 employees across approximately 30 countries.
