Mechanical Integration Engineer

About the AssignmentAs a Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading concept development and geometric integration within a designated vehicle area. You will work at the intersection of Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Attribute Engineering, and Vehicle Development, ensuring that technical requirements are balanced and integrated into a robust, manufacturable, and high-performing vehicle solution.This is a highly visible and cross-functional role where you will contribute to the development of complete vehicle architectures while supporting technical decision-making and program execution throughout the development process.In this position, you are not only an engineer, but also an architect and integration leader, shaping how different vehicle systems come together into a complete product. Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will:Lead concept development activities within your vehicle area.Drive the integration and balancing of design solutions into the engineering and industrialization phases.Balance geometric requirements and technical solutions across multiple engineering functions.Develop design proposals and manufacturing solutions using CATIA V5.Perform benchmarking studies and competitive analyses.Lead Vehicle Integration meetings and technical alignment activities.Support engineering decision-making forums with technical recommendations and integration assessments.Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between design, manufacturing, quality, and product requirements.Contribute to the continuous development of vehicle architecture and integration methodologies. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education.Basic knowledge of automotive product development processes.Experience leading cross-functional teams, technical discussions, and stakeholder meetings.Proficiency in CATIA V5.Strong communication and presentation skills.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Experience using Microsoft Office and Copilot tools. Meritorious QualificationsExperience with Teamcenter Engineering (TcE).Experience with VisMockup.Previous experience within vehicle integration, packaging, or automotive engineering.Knowledge of manufacturing and industrialization processes.
