About the AssignmentAs a Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will play a central role in balancing and integrating vehicle requirements across multiple engineering disciplines. You will lead concept development within a designated area of the vehicle and drive the transition of design concepts into engineering and industrialization phases.This role combines the responsibilities of an architect, leader and design engineer, requiring close collaboration with Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Attribute Engineering, and other key stakeholders to create well-balanced and manufacturable vehicle solutions.You will contribute to the development of complete vehicle architectures while supporting decision-making processes and ensuring alignment between technical requirements and product objectives.Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will:Lead concept development activities within your assigned vehicle area.Drive the integration and balancing of design solutions throughout the engineering and industrialization process.Coordinate and balance geometric requirements from multiple functions and stakeholders.Develop technical design proposals and manufacturing solutions using CATIA V5.Perform competitor benchmarking studies and support product improvement activities.Lead Vehicle Integration meetings and technical discussions.Support engineering decision-making by providing technical analyses and recommendations.Collaborate closely with Block Leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful vehicle integration.Build and maintain a strong internal network across engineering and product development organizations.Required QualificationsB.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education.Knowledge of automotive product development processes.Experience leading cross-functional meetings and coordinating stakeholders.Proficiency in CATIA V5.Strong communication and presentation skills.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Copilot tools.Meritorious QualificationsExperience with Teamcenter Engineering (TcE).Experience with VisMockup.Previous experience in vehicle integration, geometric architecture, or automotive design engineering.Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes within automotive development.
