Pimcore MDM Expert - Full Remote - Global Client We are seeking a skilled Pimcore MDM Consultant to design, implement, and optimize our data governance infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, using Pimcore’s data capabilities to build a unified "Golden Record" across multiple data domains (Product, Customer, Vendor, and Location). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience configuring Pimcore’s Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) frameworks, mapping complex data architectures, and integrating enterprise systems like ERPs and CRMs. Key ResponsibilitiesData Architecture & Modelling: Design and configure complex enterprise data models, multi-parent taxonomies, and object-oriented relational graphs within Pimcore.MDM & Governance Implementation: Set up data quality rules, validation pipelines, multi-step approval workflows, and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure data compliance.Consolidation & Matching: Create data matching, deduplication, and merging strategies to cleanly ingest fragmented data from multiple legacy systems into a single source of truth.Consulting & Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and data stewards to gather data requirements and translate business logic into scalable technical blueprints. Required Skills & QualificationsPimcore Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience implementing Pimcore, specifically focusing on its MDM, PIM, and DAM (Digital Asset Management) modules.Backend Development: Solid proficiency in PHP (Symfony framework) and MySQL/MariaDB database management.Data Engineering: Deep understanding of data modeling principles, master data management concepts, and data profiling/cleansing techniques.API Frameworks: Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST, GraphQL, or Webhooks for heavy data syndication.Enterprise Ecosystems: Experience connecting Pimcore to major ERP, CRM, or BI solutions.
