Process Engineer – Semiconductor ManufacturingLocation: Linköping, Sweden Our client is an innovative semiconductor manufacturer based in Linköping, developing advanced semiconductor materials and technologies used in telecommunications, defence, satellite communications and power electronics. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Process Engineer to support the development, optimisation and industrialisation of advanced manufacturing processes within a high-tech production environment. ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of manufacturing processes and support process optimisation activitiesMonitor process performance, stability, yield and repeatabilityAnalyse production and measurement data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesInvestigate process deviations and conduct root cause analysisDevelop and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologiesPlan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to improve process capabilitySupport the transfer of new technologies and processes from R&D into productionCollaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teamsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, yield and manufacturing efficiencyCreate and maintain technical documentation, process specifications and reports RequirementsDegree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering or a related disciplineExperience within process engineering, manufacturing engineering or process developmentUnderstanding of semiconductor manufacturing, thin-film technologies, vacuum processes or other advanced manufacturing environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience analysing process data and driving process improvementsAbility to work in a production-focused environmentStrong communication and documentation skills Desirable ExperienceSemiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabricationCleanroom environmentsThin-film deposition, lithography or etching processesSPC and DOEProcess qualification and validationRoot Cause Analysis (RCA), PFMEA and continuous improvement methodologiesMOCVD, MOVPE or epitaxial growth processesExperience with GaN, AlGaN, InGaN, GaAs or other semiconductor materials
