System Verification EngineerContract Length: Initial 6 Months (Extension Likely) We're supporting an innovative engineering business developing complex electromechanical products and are looking for a System Verification Engineer to join a growing verification and test team.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building test environments, validating complex systems, investigating failures, and ensuring products perform reliably under real-world conditions. We're looking for a genuine test and verification engineer rather than a software developer who occasionally tests. Responsibilities of the System Verification EngineerDevelop and execute verification and validation activities across system, integration, and component levels.Design, maintain, and improve automated test environments.Work with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) test setups.Build, configure, and support test rigs and test benches used for product verification.Design and implement automated regression and integration tests.Investigate defects, analyse root causes, and support resolution activities.Verify requirements and maintain clear traceability between requirements, tests, and results.Perform hands-on laboratory testing using physical hardware and electromechanical systems.Produce test plans, test procedures, reports, and verification documentation.Work closely with software, electronics, systems, and product development teams.
