Your Role And Responsibilities

We are looking for a new Production Supervisor to join our team at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors in Vaasa.

In this role you will act as the supervisor for a team of production workers in our manufacturing. You will collaborate with the team to ensure that the production runs smoothly with quality, capacity, schedules, safety and needed maintenance in mind. You will lead, train, and motivate a team, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality control measures.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

Supervising the manufacturing team and managing the execution of production plansWorking together with the team, scheduling and performing production activities and ensuring timely deliveryPlanning and scheduling frequent equipment and machine maintenance to ensure safety and performanceLeading with example and ensuring as a team that all health and safety regulations are met in production

B.Sc. level degree from a relevant technical field, such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similarPrevious work experience from production in an industrial company with understanding of 5S and lean principlesDevelopment oriented attitude - you are able to suggest and implement process improvements to enhance production quality and capacityAbility to lead and motivate a team, plan, oversee and, support operations. Solutions-oriented approach and decision-making abilitiesGood collaboration and communication skills to support collaboration with fluency in Finnish, and good English skillsGood skills in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams etc.) Previous experience with ERP systems like SAP is seen as a benefitPrevious knowledge or experience with ABB products, components and technologies is seen as a benefit
