Senior Logistics Manager

G2 are currently searching for a Project Manager/Senior Logistics Manager on a data centre project in Helsinki. They are open to candidates on either a permanent or freelance basis, and the successful candidate would need to be available to mobilise asap. The client is looking for a Project Manager/Senior Logistics Manager who will be managing ongoing operations on a construction site, ideally with an operational or construction background to join them working onsite, the site is based near to Helsinki in Finland. The client requires a Project Manager/Senior Logistics Manager who has an understanding of site operations for a construction site, happy with anyone who has ideally worked on a site from breaking ground, through setting up site infrastructure to the ongoing operations whilst construction continues. LOCATION 1: near to Helsinki, FinlandDURATION: 18 Month project – site basedSTART: 1st September Project Manager/Senior Logistics Manager – Construction Operations Supervisor – Work Package Supervisor 2+ years’ experience with construction projectsExperience working on data centres is beneficial, not essentialKnowledge of set up construction sites, site infrastructure or logisticsWorking history for a main contractor, sub-contractor consideredKnowledge of operational site requirements, work permits, RAMS, risk assessmentAbility to Supervise teams of site-based workers, technicians, site engineersEnglish speaking The role would be for you to work as a Project Manager/Senior Logistics Manager, construction or operations biased, this is for an operational site.
