Purchasing Manager

We are seeking an experienced project Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities on our data center construction site in Seinäjoki, Finland. You will ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services at optimal cost, while building strong supplier relationships and supporting project delivery across the organization.

What You’ll Do

You will manage daily purchasing activities, oversee supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times. You will evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, technical capability, and availability, while maintaining accurate records and supplier databases.

You will continuously improve procurement systems and processes, develop purchasing policies, and define guidelines for tendering, quotations, and vendor selection. You will also support internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

You have strong experience in procurement or supply chain management and enjoy working in a structured, fast-paced environment. You are commercially minded, analytical, and confident in negotiations, with the ability to build long-term supplier partnerships.

Degree in Business Administration or a related fieldStrong knowledge of inventory and supply chain managementExperience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier managementProficiency in MS Office and purchasing systemsStrong negotiation and stakeholder management skillsVery strong English and Finnish, written and spokenStrong planning, organization, and decision-making abilities
