Rust Developer – Remote Empiric are supporting a leading organisation on a long-term Senior Rust Developer requirement in Finland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced software engineer to join a long-term development project, working on complex, high-performance applications using Rust, C++ and Qt. You’ll be working hands-on across the software development lifecycle, developing and maintaining robust applications using modern Rust alongside an established C++ and Qt codebase. You’ll collaborate closely with other senior engineers while contributing to application architecture, development, code reviews and continuous improvement. Key Skills & ExperienceProfessional software development experience.Hands-on Rust development experience.Hands-on C++ development experience.Qt development experience.Experience developing user interfaces using QML.Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented development.Experience developing and maintaining complex production-grade applications.Experience working with Gerrit for code review and source-code management.Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance-optimisation skills.Experience working within collaborative, senior-level software engineering teams.
