Emagine is seeking a SAP Architect for Utilities, with AI and German to join an innovative project environment. This is an opportunity for an experienced SAP Utilities professional with strong practical expertise to contribute to a project at the intersection of SAP Utilities and emerging AI technologies. What You'll Be Working OnProvide deep functional and technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA Utilities.Contribute to SAP Utilities architecture and understand business processes within energy and utility providers.Work hands-on with SAP Utilities systems and related processes.Contribute to areas such as Market Communication, Device Management, Billing, invoicing, and Metering.Translate Utilities business processes, data structures, and domain relationships into structured, machine-readable knowledge.Develop and maintain Utilities-specific Knowledge Graphs.Structure domain knowledge for consumption by AI systems.Define and continuously improve indexing strategies for AI and RAG applications.Analyse information retrieval issues in AI systems and identify opportunities for improvement.Explore and evaluate RAG, Knowledge Graph Engineering, Vector Search, Intelligent Indexing, and AI-powered knowledge management approaches.Prototype AI solutions using Python and relevant Machine Learning libraries.Contribute to the technical direction of an innovative AI platform.Act as an interface between functional Utilities experts and technical AI engineering teams. What We're Looking For5+ years of professional experience in the SAP Utilities environment.At least 3 years of experience working in Utilities.Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Utilities.Strong knowledge of Utilities processes and SAP architecture within energy providers.Practical, hands-on experience working with SAP Utilities systems.Experience with Market Communication, Device Management, Billing, and/or Metering.Ability to structure complex functional knowledge and translate it into models consumable by technology and AI systems.Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, indexing, and related technologies.Willingness and ability to learn, experiment, and work with emerging AI technologies.Strong communication and collaboration skills across functional and technical teams.Fluent German, as the role involves working with German-speaking colleagues, customers, and documentation.Willingness to travel approximately 30% for customer meetings and team collaboration. Nice to HavePractical experience with Python.Experience with Machine Learning libraries.Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs or Graph Machine Learning.Experience with Multi-Agent AI.Experience working at the interface between SAP consulting and software engineering.Experience with SAP-related technologies and products used in the Utilities ecosystem. Location & EligibilityFully remote working model.Willingness to travel approximately 30% for customer meetings and team collaboration.Project duration: 7–9 months.
