SAP BTP Developer /Cloud developer (Nearshore)

For our client, we are currently looking for an experienced SAP BTP Solution Architect (m/f/d) to support the design and implementation of SAP BTP solutions in alignment with clean-core principles and modern SAP architecture standards. Project OverviewThe role focuses on designing and delivering SAP BTP architectures that support clean-core methodologies, side-by-side extensions, and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA.The architect will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and future-proof SAP BTP solutions. Project DetailsStart: ASAPDuration: 6 months with prolongation opportunityWorkload: 100%Location: Fully remoteCandidate location: EU Role ResponsibilitiesDesign SAP BTP architectures aligned with the Clean Core concept and SAP BTP Guidance FrameworkArchitect and implement SAP CAP side-by-side extensions (Node.js) on SAP BTPEnsure architectural alignment across SAP BTP services, incl. SAP Build Process Automation and Advanced Event MeshIntegrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA using APIs and Events; collaborate on end-to-end process designEnsure security, compliance, and performance within the SAP BTP landscapeWork closely with Enterprise Architecture and SAP Solution Architects on strategic BTP initiativesBuild strong relationships with internal clients and support operational excellence for BTP run activitiesLead or participate in full project cycles from requirements clarification to deploymentStay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI (e.g., SAP Joule, Agentic Frameworks) Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience implementing solutions on SAP BTP, with focus on SAP CAP side-by-side extensions (Node.js)Solid architectural understanding of SAP cloud and on-premises landscapes, including clean-core methodologyExperience with SAP BTP security and authorization conceptsAbility to design new architectural frameworks and influence their implementationGood understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, incl. ABAP conceptsInterest in emerging SAP AI technologies (SAP Joule, agentic frameworks)Professional proficiency in English (German is optional)Strong stakeholder and business communication skills
