Details:ContractingStart date: immediatelyWorkload: Full-timeDuration: 12 months with possible prolongationLocation: remote from Europe, with a willingness to travel 50% of the time within EuropeLanguage: English EU and Non-EU possible Responsibilities:Taking end-to-end responsibility for quality performance throughout the entire project lifecycle: from product and system design through to installation, commissioning and after-salesDefining and implementing quality standards, governance and processes for all project phases in a project-focused environmentStrategic partnership and close collaboration with technical departments, operations, partners and customersResponsibility for handling customer complaints, escalations and costs of poor quality (COPQ) to drive sustainable improvementLeading root cause analyses and continuous improvement processes across regional and cross-project structuresEstablishing and maintaining KPIs, dashboards and management-level reporting to make quality visiblePositioning quality as a business enabler Qualifications:Relevant experience in engineering or quality management within international, project-driven and industrial environmentsComprehensive knowledge of certifications, risk management and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and CEIn-depth knowledge of COPQ, customer complaints and field qualityExperience with quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA and 8DAbility to manage complexity, engage stakeholders effectively and remain calm and structured in escalation situationsStrong leadership skills based on influence rather than hierarchyFluent English is a must, German nice to haveWillingness to travel Important!Previous experience at one of following companies is required:HitachiSchneider ElectricGEGE WindsSiemens Smart InfrastructureABB ElectrificationEatonLegrand
