🚀 SAP MDM Finance Lead | Vendor Master Data & Finance GovernanceWe are looking for an experienced SAP MDM Finance Lead to join a global SAP landscape, acting as the key authority for Vendor Master Data Management, Finance solution design, and data governance.This is an exciting opportunity for a senior SAP professional who combines strong Finance expertise with deep knowledge of Master Data Management and cross-functional integration. 📌 Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Master Data Ownership & Solution Design• Own and govern the SAP Vendor Master data model. • Define and maintain vendor data governance standards and best practices. • Ensure consistency of Vendor Master processes across projects, enhancements, and support activities. • Assess impacts across Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, BI, and other integrated domains.Finance Design Authority• Review and approve Finance-related solution designs and change requests. • Ensure alignment with the SAP Core Model, enterprise architecture principles, and governance standards. • Challenge and validate proposed solutions from project teams, AMS, and external partners. • Promote cross-functional consistency between Finance, MDM, Retail, Supply Chain, and BI streams.Change Request & Demand Management• Analyze business requirements and change requests impacting Vendor Master and Finance processes. • Assess impacts, risks, dependencies, and effort estimations. • Participate in Design Authority and CAB reviews. • Support prioritization and decision-making for maintenance and transformation initiatives.Data Governance & Quality• Define master data standards, validation rules, and controls. • Drive data quality, consistency, completeness, and compliance. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and data quality programs. • Lead master data harmonization across regions and business units.Stakeholder & Solution Leadership• Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, BPOs, SAP functional teams, and integration teams. • Facilitate workshops and solution discussions related to Vendor Master and Finance processes. • Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance. • Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation governance. ✅ Required Experience & Technical Skills• 8+ years of SAP functional experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and Finance (FI). • Strong expertise in SAP Vendor Master, Business Partner (BP), and vendor synchronization. • Hands-on experience with Customer Vendor Integration (CVI) implementations, configuration, and migrations. • Proven background in Vendor Master governance frameworks and data quality management. • Deep knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), vendor invoicing, payments, and reconciliation processes. • Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL), financial postings, and chart of accounts design. • Experience with tax determination, compliance, and reporting requirements. • Solid understanding of financial closing processes and financial reporting. • Extensive experience with SAP ECC integrations and cross-functional process design. • Knowledge of end-to-end integration between Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Master Data domains. 🌟 Profile We Are Looking ForStrategic & Analytical Thinking• Ability to translate complex business requirements into sustainable SAP solutions. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Stakeholder Management• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority. • Comfortable working with Finance leaders, architects, business process owners, and technical teams.Communication & Facilitation• Excellent workshop facilitation and presentation skills. • Ability to communicate complex SAP concepts to both technical and business audiences. • Fluent English.Governance & Leadership• Strong ownership mindset and accountability. • Ability to challenge solutions constructively while maintaining collaboration and alignment.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement• Cross-functional and international mindset. • Team player with experience working in multicultural environments. • Passion for standardization, simplification, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. 📩 Interested or know someone who could be a great fit?
