Senior IT Architect

We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced Senior IT Architect in Södertälje. You will be a key part of the customer's Data Analytics domain, focusing on setting up and maturing architecture, information models, data models, integration patterns and governance processes. You will define target architectures, document future-state solutions and make sure data, integration and business needs stay aligned. The role combines architecture leadership, hands-on design, advisory work and capability building. You will work closely with managers, project leads, product owners, domain stakeholders and other teams to guide architecture and support decisions.

Establishing and developing architecture, information patterns and integration patterns in the Data Analytics domainDesigning data structures, governance processes, information models and data models in line with business requirementsDesigning and defining integration structures and architectural principlesCreating, updating and maintaining architecture documentation, target states and integration flows according to the customer's standardsDeveloping and maintaining the overall system landscape architectureStrategic architecture and technical guidance to managers, project leads, product owners and domain stakeholdersSupporting architectural governance and alignment with established standards and principlesMentoring and coaching designated internal team members to build internal architecture capabilitiesHands-on guidance and knowledge transfer to help develop independent architectsWorking with stakeholders on architecture decisions and long-term development of the domain

You will work in a complex environment with many stakeholders, dependencies and competing priorities. You will bring clarity and direction while building capabilities that last within the team and the organization.

Extensive experience as a Senior IT ArchitectExperience with Data Analytics architectureRelevant academic degree or equivalent professional experienceFluent English and Swedish, spoken and writtenStrong knowledge of information modelling and data modellingStrong understanding of integration architecture and integration designExperience designing information models, data models and integration architecturesExperience documenting architecture, target states and system landscapesExperience creating and maintaining architecture documentation and target-state designsGood understanding of governance processes and architectural principlesExperience establishing or supporting governance frameworks and architectural standardsExperience advising senior stakeholders on architectureExperience mentoring, coaching and developing internal team membersAble to communicate and document complex architecture concepts in a structured wayStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAble to work at both strategic and operational levelsStructured, analytical, proactive and self-drivenCommunicative and collaborative, able to influence stakeholders at every level of the organizationStrategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approachEnjoys sharing knowledge and helping others growPassionate about architecture, continuous improvement and building long-term capabilities
