SENIOR PLANNERLocation: Boden, SwedenContract Duration: 12 months (renewable)Job Status: Full-TimeStart Date: ASAPAccount Manager: Anthony Hughes Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support planning governance, schedule integration, and project performance management across a major industrial project in Boden, Sweden. Working closely with construction, engineering, commissioning, and contractor teams, you will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, analysing progress, identifying risks, and providing accurate forecasting and reporting to support successful project delivery. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and update project schedules in line with project requirementsReview EPCM and contractor schedules for quality, logic, and compliance with project standardsMaintain and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for assigned project areasPerform schedule updates, analysis, reporting, and forecasting based on site progressMonitor critical paths, milestones, and project interfacesIdentify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvementSupport the development of mitigation and recovery plansValidate progress with construction, engineering, and commissioning teamsParticipate in planning meetings, schedule reviews, and project coordination sessionsPrepare progress reports and schedule performance analysis for project stakeholdersSupport project decision-making through accurate and timely planning information RequirementsDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineStrong experience in project planning within large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure, or construction projectsExperience developing and maintaining Integrated Master SchedulesStrong knowledge of planning methodologies, scheduling tools, and industry best practicesExperience with schedule risk analysis and forecastingProficiency in Primavera P6 and other project controls softwareExcellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively across multiple disciplines and project interfacesDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environmentWillingness to work on-site within an active construction project The Next StepThis is an excellent opportunity to join a major industrial development and contribute to the successful delivery of one of Europe’s largest construction programmes.
