Senior Test Developer

Senior Test Developer | Python & Test Automation We are looking for a Senior Test Developer to develop and continuously improve an automated regression test environment for embedded software. The role has a strong focus on Python automation, troubleshooting unstable tests, root-cause analysis, and improving overall test reliability. Location: StockholmMode of work: HybridContract Duration: 6 months + extensions Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automated tests in Python.Investigate failing, unstable, and intermittent tests and identify root causes.Analyse logs, test results, and system behaviour.Improve test robustness and reduce false/intermittent failures.Maintain and enhance test frameworks and supporting tools.Integrate automated regression testing into CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with developers and testers on defect investigation and resolution. Key RequirementsSenior-level experience in software testing and test automation.Strong hands-on Python experience.Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated test suites.Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis skills.Experience analysing logs, test results, and complex test environments.Hands-on Git experience.Independent, structured, and methodical approach to technical problem-solving. Nice to HaveEmbedded software/system testing.Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.pytest or similar Python frameworks.CI/CD troubleshooting.Embedded communication protocols/interfaces.Jira and/or Jama.Large-scale automated regression environments.
