Software Developer

ALTEN Sweden is looking for Embedded Software Engineers to join exciting automotive projects in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be part of developing next-generation vehicle software and contribute to advanced embedded systems within areas such as connectivity, ADAS, vehicle functions, electrification, and platform development. You will work in a modern software environment using C++, Python, Embedded Linux and AUTOSAR, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining embedded software solutions in C++ for automotive applications.Working in Linux-based embedded environments and contributing to software architecture, implementation, testing and integration.Participating in the development of ECU and vehicle software using modern development tools and methodologies.Working with AUTOSAR-based platforms and software components.Using tools such as Git, Gerrit and Jenkins to support CI/CD and software delivery processes.Collaborating closely with system engineers, software developers, testers and other stakeholders throughout the development process.Contributing to verification, debugging, integration and continuous improvement activities.Working in Agile teams and actively supporting a collaborative and innovative development culture. Who You Are:B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related field.Experience working within the automotive industry.Hands-on experience in embedded software development using C++.Experience working with Embedded Linux environments.Knowledge of software development tools such as Git, Gerrit and Jenkins.Experience with Agile methodologies and ways of working.Programming experience in both C++ and Python.Experience with AUTOSAR is highly valued.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
