About the RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineering Analyst to join a team responsible for developing and validating vehicle application software that manages vehicle operating modes, electrical energy optimization, and feature availability throughout the vehicle lifecycle.This role contributes to critical software functionality within modern automotive software and electronic platforms. The team owns the complete development process, including requirements management, system design, software development, verification, testing, and safety/security compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of a collaborative and empowered engineering team, you will: Ensure the quality, reliability, and correctness of vehicle application software.Design, execute, and analyze software tests across multiple environments, including vehicles, HIL rigs, VIL setups and test benches.Investigate and troubleshoot software issues using logs, traces and diagnostic data.Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing and continuous integration workflows.Work closely with Software, Hardware, System and Test Engineers to validate complex vehicle functions.Contribute to software verification activities throughout the development lifecycle.Support safety and security documentation activities where applicable.Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies, automation, and quality processes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.Proven experience in automotive software testing and validation, with strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Experience working with vehicle systems, ECUs, and embedded software, including analysis of logs, traces, and diagnostic data.Hands-on experience in test design, execution, and defect investigation using industry-standard tools such as CANalyzer, INCA, ParallelDiag, DSA, and DLT.Knowledge of test automation, continuous integration, automotive communication protocols, and functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.Familiarity with development and CI environments leveraging Git, Zuul, CMake, and Bazel.Programming and scripting experience, preferably in Python and CAPL.
