System Verification Engineer – Connectivity

Then this could be your next assignment.ALTEN is now looking for a System Verification Engineer for an assignment with one of our clients within the automotive industry in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work with verification and testing of vehicle connectivity systems, ensuring robustness, quality, and readiness before release. About the roleAs a System Verification Engineer, you will work with end-to-end verification of vehicle connectivity solutions, both onboard and offboard. The role includes hands-on diagnostics and fault tracing in vehicles and system rigs, as well as development and execution of test cases based on system and vehicle requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams as well as workshops and service organizations to coordinate and perform testing activities. The assignment combines structured verification work with practical, hands-on troubleshooting in complex automotive environments. Main responsibilitiesPerform vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing in rigs and vehiclesExecute end-to-end testing of onboard and offboard connectivity solutionsDevelop, execute, and report test cases on system and vehicle levelVerify functionality according to requirements and quality targetsSecure quality and readiness before releaseContribute to continuous improvements of test methods and processes Your profileYou are a structured and analytical engineer who enjoys hands-on verification work and system-level problem solving. You are curious, proactive, and comfortable working across different technical domains. We see that you have:Minimum 5 years of experience in system verification within automotive environmentsExperience from verification in vehicles or system rigs (manual testing)Experience from working with connectivityB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalentExperience with vehicle diagnostics and fault tracingFamiliarity with requirement and system tools such as SystemWeaverExperience with Vector tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe)Very good communication skills in EnglishMeritorious:A solid network within the automotive industry and understanding of development processesExperience working close to dealers or workshopsT-shaped mindset with interest in learning new technical areas ApplicationDue to the to the summer holiday period, the processing time may be longer than usual.
