About KPITExperts in software for the automotive industryThe only embedded software company with comprehensive expertise across all CASE domainsStrategic partner to more than 25 global leaders in the mobility sectorHome to more than 13,000 engineers with a passion for mobilityGlobal presence in Asia, Europe, and North and South America Responsibilities Develop, validate, and implement manufacturing process concepts for battery Cell-to-Pack (CtP) production systems across global manufacturing sites.Create and optimize virtual manufacturing solutions for both manual and automated production processes.Perform manufacturing feasibility studies and Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA) assessments to support product development.Develop and maintain digital manufacturing models, simulations, and process layouts using Siemens Teamcenter and Process Simulate.Verify product and process readiness through virtual validation, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, efficiency, flexibility, and production requirements.Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Plants, and R&D teams to secure robust manufacturing solutions.Support line balancing, ergonomics, material flow, and process optimization activities to improve operational performance.Contribute to the implementation of new products, technologies, and manufacturing processes in global production facilities.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, manufacturing standards, and process specifications.Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and manufacturing excellence. Skills & Requirements Required SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing process design within Body Shop and/or Battery Shop (Cell-to-Pack) environments.Strong experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies.Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter and Process Simulate.Experience in digital manufacturing, virtual validation, and manufacturing simulation.Understanding of automated and manual production systems and assembly processes.Knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, production system design, and industrialization processes. Preferred SkillsExperience with robot offline programming.Knowledge of battery manufacturing processes, particularly Cell-to-Pack (CtP) technologies.Experience supporting global manufacturing projects and product launches.Familiarity with production line balancing, ergonomics, and material flow optimization.
