AI & Automation Engineer – Infrastructure / Data Center

We are looking for a hands-on AI & Automation Engineer to modernize enterprise Data Center and Infrastructure operations through automation, observability, self-service and AI-assisted operations.The goal is to reduce manual infrastructure work and move toward a more proactive SRE/PRE/MIRE operating model, with automated provisioning, remediation, monitoring and lifecycle management.What you will work with:Build production-grade automation for provisioning, patching, configuration, backup/recovery and infrastructure lifecycle managementDevelop automation using Ansible, Python, PowerShell/Bash, Terraform/OpenTofu, REST APIs, JSON/YAML and GitWork across VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI and hybrid cloudSupport enterprise infrastructure across Windows/Linux, Active Directory, storage, replication, backup and disaster recoveryWork with data protection platforms such as CohesityDevelop AI-assisted infrastructure capabilities using GenAI, LLMs/SLMs, Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, RAG and AI agentsApply AI to use cases such as incident triage, root-cause analysis, capacity forecasting, change-risk assessment and controlled remediationImplement AIOps and observability for telemetry, anomaly detection, event correlation and predictive operationsWork with Azure, Azure Arc, Azure Local, containers/Kubernetes and platform engineeringIntegrate ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/CMDB with infrastructure, monitoring and automation platformsApply Zero Trust, RBAC, security-as-code, auditability and controlled approval processesTake automation and AI solutions from POC into secure, supportable productionRequired experience:10+ years of experience in Data Center, Infrastructure, Cloud, Virtualization or Automation EngineeringStrong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS/DHCPHands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and/or Hyper-VExperience with enterprise storage, SAN/NAS, replication and backup/recoveryHands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automationStrong scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell/BashExperience with Terraform/OpenTofu, REST APIs, JSON/YAML and GitExperience with Azure, Azure Local/Azure Arc or hybrid cloud infrastructureExperience with ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/CMDBExperience with AIOps, observability, telemetry and automated remediationPractical experience with AI, GenAI, Copilot, AIOps or intelligent infrastructure automationProduction experience integrating infrastructure platforms through APIs, workflows and orchestrationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experiencePreferred qualifications:Microsoft Azure / Azure Local / Windows Server / Linux certificationsVMware VCP or equivalent virtualization certificationRed Hat / Ansible Automation certificationCohesity or equivalent data-protection certificationTerraform Associate or equivalent IaC certificationMicrosoft AI / Copilot / Foundry credentialsITIL and/or ServiceNow certification
