Analysis & Verification Engineer – Battery Systems (HiL & Test Automation)

ALTEN Sweden is looking for an Analysis & Verification Engineer with strong experience in HiL testing and test automation to join an exciting automotive project in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work with the verification of next-generation battery systems for electrified vehicles, focusing on automated testing in a HiL and laboratory environment. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining automated test cases in dSPACE AutomationDesk on component and domain level.Performing verification and validation activities in HiL and battery laboratory environments.Analyzing test results, identifying deviations, and proposing improvements to software quality and test processes.Working with diagnostics and troubleshooting using UDS, OBD2, and other diagnostic methods.Executing tests on battery systems and test vehicles to verify functionality, safety, and performance.Collaborating closely with software developers, system engineers, and verification teams to ensure robust solutions.Using tools such as CarWeaver, INCA, CANalyzer, and CANoe to support development and testing activities.Contributing to continuous improvements in test automation, verification methods, and development processes. Who You Are: Several years of experience in automotive verification, validation, or test automation.Strong hands-on experience with dSPACE AutomationDesk and automated testing in HiL environments.Knowledge of high-voltage systems, electrical safety, and electrical architecture.Experience working with battery systems, electrified vehicles, or Battery Management Systems (BMS).Knowledge of diagnostics protocols and tools, including UDS and OBD2.Experience using CarWeaver, INCA, and CANalyzer.Knowledge of CANoe is considered a strong advantage.Experience with software testing and verification methodologies.Knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety is highly meritorious.A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.A valid EU Category B driving license.ISTQB certification is considered a plus.
