ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Certification Engineer, you will:Lead type approval and homologation for automotive systems (powertrain, electronics, safety)Collaborate with authorities, testing labs, and OEMs to streamline certification processes.Monitor regulatory updatesMaintain technical documentation for audits and submissions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, testing, legal) to ensure designs meet Chinese regulatory requirements. What is the product?Compliance and certification of automotive components (mechanical/electrical systems, ECUs, embedded systems) for the Chinese market. What technologies/standards?Core Standards: CCC, MIIT, GB, UNECE, ISOTesting Protocols: EMC, environmental, durability testsSystems: Powertrain, fuel systems, braking, ECUs, MCUs Nice to have:Fluency in Mandarin (written/spoken)Experience with CATARC, 3C Certification, or global OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers in China ABOUT ALTENALTEN is one of Europe’s largest technology and IT consulting companies, with over 57,000 employees across approximately 30 countries.
