Cloud Data Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Location: Stockholm

You will work with business-critical data flows and client reporting solutions as part of a major transformation from legacy platforms to a modern GCP-based data ecosystem. The role combines strategic technical design with hands-on development, helping to make data accessible, reliable, and ready for data-driven decision making.

Drive and contribute to the technical roadmap for data and integration solutions Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and data products on GCP Bridge legacy systems with modern cloud-native architecture Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with technical standards and target architecture

Senior data engineer with several years of experience in software development and data engineering Proven hands-on delivery experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms Understanding of modern data architectures including Data Warehouse and event-driven designs Experience with ETL processes and data modelling (dimensional modelling, Data Vault) Collaborative mindset with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
