Assignment Description

Data & Analytics is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience to strengthen our Platform & Enablement capability.

The consultant will work with the design, development and continuous improvement of cloud-based platform capabilities supporting Data & Analytics teams. The assignment combines hands-on engineering with platform design, automation, security, reliability and developer enablement.

We are looking for a senior engineer who can work independently in a complex enterprise environment, collaborate closely with platform engineers, data engineers, architects and security stakeholders, and contribute both operationally and strategically to the evolution of our GCP-based platform.

Design, build and improve platform capabilities on Google Cloud PlatformWork hands-on with GKE/Kubernetes and container-based workloadsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, primarily using TerraformContribute to CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery patternsWork with GCP networking, IAM, security and access managementDevelop reusable platform components and enable self-service for engineering teamsContribute to monitoring, logging, observability and operational reliabilitySupport engineering teams onboarding workloads onto the platformWork closely with architects, security and engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure platform solutionsContribute to technical standards, patterns and long-term platform improvements

Mandatory Requirements

Senior-level professional experience in Platform Engineering / Cloud Engineering / DevOpsSeveral years of hands-on production experience with Google Cloud PlatformStrong practical experience with GKE and KubernetesStrong hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as CodeExperience designing or developing cloud platform foundations / landing-zone capabilitiesExperience with IAM, workload identity, networking and cloud securityStrong experience with CI/CD and automated software/infrastructure deliveryExperience with monitoring, logging and observability in cloud environmentsExperience supporting multiple development or engineering teams through common platform capabilitiesAbility to work independently and take technical ownership in a complex enterprise environmentStrong communication skills in English
