MEP Commissioning Manager – Data Centres | FinlandFinland | Major Data Centre Development | Client Side / PMC | On Site I’m partnering with a highly reputable client supporting the delivery of a major data centre development in Finland, and I’m looking for an experienced MEP Commissioning Manager to join the team. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of an exciting, technically complex data centre programme, representing the client through the critical transition from construction into a fully commissioned, operational facility. For this role, I’m particularly interested in people with an operational mindset.You won't simply be looking at whether systems have been installed and commissioned correctly. You need to think about the building from the perspective of the team ultimately accepting, operating and maintaining it. What will you be doing?• Take ownership of MEP commissioning activity across the project• Oversee commissioning strategy, planning, sequencing and execution• Coordinate across contractors, vendors, engineering teams and client stakeholders• Drive commissioning readiness and ensure systems are tested, integrated and performing as intended• Review progress, identify risks and challenge issues before they impact handover• Maintain a strong focus on operational readiness throughout the commissioning process• Support the transition from construction through testing, commissioning, handover and acceptance• Ensure the finished facility can be confidently accepted from an operational perspectiveWhat am I looking for? Data centre experience is essential, alongside strong MEP and commissioning knowledge. However, I’m also interested in people who may have come from an operations, process owner or operational readiness background, where you have been responsible for accepting complex facilities or systems into operation. The mindset is critical: can this building actually be operated safely, reliably and effectively once it is handed over? This is an international environment, so professional English is essential. The preference is for someone who can be on site in Finland five days per week. You do not necessarily need to be based in Finland today; relocation or weekly travel could absolutely be considered for the right person.
