Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a major mission-critical construction programme in Sweden. This is a senior, site-based role responsible for overseeing construction delivery, contractor coordination, health & safety, quality, programme and project readiness. You will work closely with the client, main contractor, subcontractors and wider project delivery team to ensure issues are identified, managed and escalated effectively. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on, site-based construction management and oversight.Monitor construction progress, programme, quality and H&S performance.Coordinate main contractors, subcontractors and specialist trades.Review look-ahead programmes, resources and construction activities.Manage inspections, ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, snagging and punch-list activities.Identify construction risks, issues and interfaces and drive actions to completion.Support construction readiness, commissioning interfaces, handover and closeout.Maintain accurate construction records and provide clear daily/weekly reporting.Work closely with engineering, commissioning, operations and project management teams. Experience Required10–20 years' relevant construction management experience.Strong site-based construction management background.Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or similarly complex projects.Proven experience managing major contractors and multiple subcontractors.Strong understanding of construction H&S, quality, programme and sequencing.Experience managing construction interfaces and project risks.Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.Relevant construction, engineering or project management qualifications desirable.
