Data Migration Lead – StockholmStockholm · Permanent The organisationWe are working with an established consultancy hiring into a newly created strategic role. They deliver complex data transformation initiatives for enterprise clients across multiple industries, working with business-critical systems and data assets alongside both global and local stakeholders. The roleA senior position leading large-scale data migration projects end to end, from conception through to successful completion. You'd own the full lifecycle - assessment, planning, design, execution, testing, cutover and post-migration support - and be the person clients and internal teams look to when a migration has to land cleanly. Day to day, you will:Lead complex, multi-phase migration programmes across enterprise environmentsEngage clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, identify risks and develop comprehensive migration strategiesOwn detailed migration planning including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines and success criteriaApply data quality assurance, validation methodologies and testing frameworks to protect data integrity throughoutIdentify, assess and mitigate risk, developing contingency and rollback strategies for mission-critical migrationsWork across process teams, IT, deployment teams and business units, translating technical migration concepts into language non-technical stakeholders can act on This is a delivery-owning role rather than an advisory one - you'd be accountable for migrations landing, not just for the plan.
