Embedded Software Integration Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for an Embedded Software Integration Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. We are looking for an Embedded Software Integration Engineer to join our team and support the integration, validation, and troubleshooting of software and electrical systems within advanced automotive platforms. In this role, you will work with system-level software integration, vehicle electrical architectures, diagnostics, and verification activities to ensure the expected system behavior and quality before release. You will play a key role in securing successful deliveries, driving technical excellence, and supporting complex issue investigations throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities Integrate and validate software and electrical systems to ensure expected system behavior.Perform software downloads, system integration, and verification activities.Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and report findings.Validate software functionality and vehicle electrical architectures at system level.Maintain and support test vehicles and HIL environments.Lead system engineering activities and secure quality and readiness before release.Support complex technical investigations as an advanced troubleshooter.Manage software platform integration, configuration, and deployment activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvements. Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.Extensive experience in Embedded Software Integration, System Validation, or Automotive System Engineering.Strong understanding of Automotive Electrical & Electronic (EE) Architectures.Experience with Software Download, Integration, Deployment, and Verification activities.Knowledge of Automotive Communication Protocols and Diagnostics Standards.Experience working with Test Vehicles, HIL Systems, or Automotive Verification Environments.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured problem-solving approach.Experience leading technical activities and collaborating across engineering teams.T-shaped profile with broad product knowledge and strong system understanding.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in automotive software integration or related engineering disciplines.
