EPM/Essbase Consultant

We are looking for a hands-on Essbase Consultant to support a global organisation as part of its Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) function.The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day support, development and optimisation of the Essbase environment, working closely with CCH Tagetik and reporting teams. This is a technical role suited to someone who can work autonomously, troubleshoot issues and drive improvements. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on Essbase administration, support and troubleshootingDevelop and maintain Essbase cubes, outlines, calculation scripts and business rulesSupport and optimise BSO/ASO cubes and performanceTroubleshoot data loads, calculation issues and reporting discrepanciesManage data flows between CCH Tagetik and EssbaseSupport Smart View / Hyperion Financial Reporting and related reporting toolsWork on change requests, testing, enhancements and continuous improvementAct as a senior technical escalation point for Essbase-related issues Essential ExperienceStrong, hands-on experience with Oracle EssbaseStrong knowledge of BSO and/or ASO, cube design and administrationProficiency with Calculation Scripts, Business Rules and MDXExperience with Essbase security, performance tuning and troubleshootingExperience with ETL/data integration and data loadsKnowledge of CCH Tagetik is highly desirableExperience with ODI, EPM Automate or similar tools is a plusUnderstanding of financial consolidation processesExperience with Smart View and/or Hyperion Financial Reporting Contract: Initial 6 months, with scope for extensionLocation: Fully Remote
