Mainframe DB2 DBA – z/OS | Remote Contract

We are looking for an experienced DB2 DBA with z/OS experience to join a long-term enterprise mainframe programme. This is a remote contract opportunity working within a large, business-critical environment. What you'll be doing Administering and supporting IBM Db2 for z/OSManaging databases, tablespaces, indexes and other DB2 objectsRunning DB2 utilities including REORG, RUNSTATS, LOAD and UNLOADPerformance monitoring and SQL/query tuningBackup, recovery and production supportTroubleshooting DB2 issuesSupporting database changes and application deploymentsWorking with application and infrastructure teams What we're looking for Hands-on DB2 for z/OS experienceExperience working as a DB2 DBA / Mainframe DBAGood understanding of DB2 utilities, performance and recoveryKnowledge of z/OS and JCLExperience supporting production mainframe environments Experience with OMEGAMON, RACF, REXX or DB2 administration tools is useful but not essential. This is a long-term remote contract opportunity with a major enterprise client.
