Global IS Licence Manager – Remote Empiric are supporting a leading global organisation on a newly created Global IS Licence Manager requirement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Asset Management specialist to establish and lead a global licence management function, with a strong focus on strategy, governance, licence optimisation and compliance. You’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end software licence lifecycle, ensuring audit readiness, supporting vendor negotiations and driving effective use of ServiceNow SAM Pro or an equivalent platform. Key Skills & ExperienceMinimum 7 years’ experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, software licensing or IT/IS Vendor Management, with a strong software licensing focus.Experience managing software licensing across a global or multinational organisation.Proven licence management strategy and governance experience, including policies, controls and processes.Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing models and major software publishers.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro or a comparable SAM platform.Licence optimisation experience covering entitlements, usage, demand and renewals.Software licence compliance and audit experience, including reconciliations, licence positions and risk remediation.Experience supporting vendor renewals, commercial negotiations and interpretation of licensing terms.Experience improving SAM data quality, reporting and process automation. Nice to HavesCSAM certification.ServiceNow CIS-SAM/ITAM certification.Relevant software vendor licensing certifications.
