Linux Platform Engineer

About The Role
As a Linux Platform Engineer, you will work hands-on with Linux-based platforms and their integration into larger technical systems.
The role spans several engineering domains, from operating systems and networking to infrastructure automation, containerized environments, CI/CD, and software development.
You will operate in an environment where priorities can change quickly, making technical curiosity, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration important parts of the role.

Develop and evolve Linux-based platformsWork with software development and integration across larger systemsWork with networking, routing, and firewallsBuild and improve infrastructure automationWork with containerized environments using Docker and KubernetesDevelop and maintain automation and scripts across the platformContribute to DevOps and CI/CD practicesWork with security-critical software and platform environmentsCollaborate with engineers across different technical disciplines
What we’re looking for
You have a strong interest in Linux-based systems and enjoy working across the boundaries between software, infrastructure, and systems.
Relevant Knowledge Or Experience Includes
Linux OSNetworking, routing, and firewallsComputer architectureInfrastructure automationSecurity-critical softwareScripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Bourne shellAnsibleKubernetes and DockerDevOps and CI/CD
Knowledge or experience with Golang, C#, or C++ is also relevant.

You like solving problems across different layers of a platform and collaborating with people from different engineering disciplines.
