Master thesis - Knowledge management across functions
Master Thesis: Knowledge management across functions
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a master’s thesis student, you will work with supportive and highly motivated colleagues in a professional, collaborative, and easy-going environment. Your day will combine analytical work with discussions across different functions. Together with key stakeholders, you will map how knowledge and data can be utilized across functions, identify gaps and overlaps, and propose practical improvements that make information easier to access, reuse, and maintain.
This department offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple interfaces, build a strong professional network, and gain valuable exposure to different functions and areas of the organization.
The thesis has two connected workstreams. First, you will prepare existing knowledge and data for future reconfiguration and use. This includes assessing and cleansing data in its original sources; mapping key references to link, interconnect, and integrate data from different sources; defining a consistent, processable structure; and exploring how robust databases could be established.
Second, you will investigate links and overlaps between departments and identify ways to bridge functional boundaries. By showing how existing knowledge can be shared more effectively, your work can improve data quality and accessibility, reduce duplicated effort, and support faster, better-informed decisions. The intended outcome is a practical set of recommendations and a foundation that the business can continue to develop after the thesis.
How You’ll Make An Impact
