We are currently seeking a Network Vulnerability Manager / Vulnerability Management Specialist (m/f/d) for an IT service provider in the regulated financial sector. Project BackgroundThe client operates security-critical IT and network infrastructures for companies in the financial sector. As part of the project, network- and firewall-related vulnerabilities are to be centrally assessed, addressed, and managed throughout their entire lifecycle.The goal is to ensure transparent, timely, and compliance-compliant handling of vulnerability reports—from initial logging in ServiceNow through technical resolution and documented closure.

ResponsibilitiesAddressing network- and firewall-related vulnerabilities in ServiceNowReceiving, assessing, prioritizing, and coordinating VUL and VIT ticketsProcessing reports from S-CERT, BSI, KRITIS, vendor information, vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and operational incidentsAssessing vulnerabilities in terms of relevance, criticality, and urgencyReviewing and validating CMDB mappings and affected configuration itemsAdjusting classifications, responsibilities, and risk assignmentsManaging the entire lifecycle of vulnerabilities and affected technical componentsPlanning and tracking required measures with network, firewall, and information security teamsMaintaining and managing processing statuses in ServiceNowEnsuring documentation quality, as well as tracking and closing casesCreating and maintaining reports and dashboardsProactive monitoring and technical verification with Forward NetworksFurther development and continuous improvement of existing vulnerability processes

QualificationsEnglish (fluent, both spoken and written)Knowledge of German is a plusIn-depth knowledge of ServiceNow (VUL - VIT Management, Dashboards)Knowledge of networks and firewallsKnowledge of reporting and issue managementProcess-oriented and structured approach to workMeticulous and strongly compliance-oriented work styleStrong communication skills and assertiveness
