Planning Specialist

Title: Lead Planning & Scheduling SpecialistLocation: Boden, Sweden (100% Site-Based) Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Lead Planning & Scheduling Specialist for a site-based role in Boden, Sweden. Acting as the Owner’s Representative, you will oversee planning governance, schedule assurance, and integration for your assigned area on a major industrial build. Working alongside construction, engineering, commissioning, and EPCM contractor teams, you will provide independent oversight of schedules, progress reporting, forecasts, critical paths, and recovery plans. Key Responsibilities:Planning Governance & Assurance: Act as the Owner's focal point for planning/scheduling, assuring EPCM and contractor schedules for quality, logic integrity, and compliance. Conduct schedule health checks and verify progress measurement consistency across site areas.Integrated Planning & Scheduling: Maintain and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Integrate EPCM and contractor schedules, perform updates, and run schedule risk/critical path analyses based on actual site progress.Site Execution Support: Collaborate with field construction, commissioning, and engineering teams to validate physical progress, identify constraints, and assist in developing realistic recovery plans. Key Requirements:Proven track record in project planning and scheduling within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.Experience working within complex, multi-disciplinary EPCM environments and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).Strong command of planning methodologies, tools (e.g., Primavera P6), and schedule risk analysis (QRA).Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Ability to work full-time on an industrial site in Boden, including navigating plant environments and adhering to standard PPE protocols.Fluent in English.
