Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager – Data CentreLocation: Borlänge, Sweden | Site-basedI’m recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to support a contractor delivering a major data centre project in Borlänge, Sweden.This is a hands-on commercial role covering project costs, payment applications, variations and subcontract management. You’ll work closely with the project delivery team to keep forecasts accurate, track changes and manage commercial issues throughout delivery.The roleMonitor project costs, budgets and forecasts, identifying potential overruns and commercial risks.Review valuations, applications for payment and supporting documentation.Track and manage variations and change orders, ensuring changes are properly recorded and valued.Support procurement and the commercial management of subcontract packages.Prepare commercial reports, giving the project team clear visibility of costs and outstanding issues.Work with project managers, procurement teams and subcontractors to resolve commercial queries.What we’re looking forExperience as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager on major construction projects.A strong background in cost control, valuations, variations and subcontract management.Confidence reviewing commercial documentation and identifying gaps or discrepancies.A practical approach to resolving commercial issues alongside site delivery teams.Availability to work on site in Borlänge, Sweden.Data centre experience is preferred, but not essential.
