Senior Commissioning Engineer

We're recruiting for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join a major data centre site. About the Role You'll lead commissioning and testing of the controls and automation systems, working across MEP, IT, and Construction teams to keep milestones on track.

Responsibilities:Directing the development and deployment of PLC/HMI applications, including design review and sign-offOwning remote troubleshooting and escalation of PLC, SCADA, network and other control system issuesLeading coordination of milestones across MEP, IT and Construction teams, mostly through remote programme calls and reportingOverseeing PLC/HMI updates and testing in staging and live environments, with change controlLeading commissioning and testing at key onsite phases, through to integrated systems testing and handoverLeading BAS remediation and routine maintenance with Site OperationsMentoring junior engineers and setting standards for the team Required Skills:8+ years in industrial automation, with a strong focus on commissioningProven experience leading commissioning on mission-critical environments, ideally data centresStrong hands-on experience with Rockwell SCADA systemsExperience coordinating contractors and multiple disciplines
